- About This Website
1.1 This website is operated on behalf of Broughton Halal Butcher, trading at 29 Tanfield Ln, Broughton, Milton Keynes MK10 9NH. The website platform and payment technology are provided by a third-party platform services provider. All products are supplied by Broughton Halal Butcher.
1.2 When you place an order through this website, your contract for the purchase of goods is with Broughton Halal Butcher. The platform provider acts as a technology provider only and is not a party to the sale of goods.

- Placing an Order
2.1 By placing an order through this website, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected. Your order is not confirmed until you receive an order confirmation by email.
2.2 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at any time, including after confirmation, if the product is unavailable, if there is an error in pricing or product description, or if we are unable to fulfil the order for any other reason. If your order is cancelled after payment has been taken, a full refund will be issued within 5–7 business days.
2.3 All orders are subject to product availability. If a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, Broughton Halal Butcher will contact you to offer a suitable alternative or a full refund.
2.4 Product images on this website are for illustrative purposes only. The appearance of products may vary slightly from those shown.
2.5 By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
- Pricing and Payment
3.1 All prices displayed on this website are in pounds sterling (£) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
3.2 A Customer Service Charge of £0.59 is applied to each order at checkout. This charge is collected for the provision of platform and payment processing services. It is separate from the product price and delivery fee.
3.3 Payment is processed securely via Stripe. By placing an order you authorise payment of the total order amount, including any applicable delivery fee and the Customer Service Charge, to be taken at the time of order.
3.4 We reserve the right to amend prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
- Delivery
4.1 Delivery of orders is carried out by Broughton Halal Butcher. The platform provider does not provide delivery services and accepts no responsibility for delivery timescales, missed deliveries, or delivery failures.
4.2 Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed. Broughton Halal Butcher will endeavour to deliver within the estimated timeframe but shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances outside its control.
4.3 Delivery is available to the postcodes displayed at checkout. If your postcode is not within the delivery area, a collection option may be available where offered.
4.4 Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. If you are not present at the time of delivery, Broughton Halal Butcher may attempt redelivery or contact you to arrange an alternative. We accept no liability for goods left unattended at your request.
- Halal Products and Certification
5.1 All products sold through this website are supplied by Broughton Halal Butcher and are represented as halal. Broughton Halal Butcher is solely responsible for maintaining valid halal certification and for the accuracy of any halal claims made in respect of its products.
5.2 The platform provider does not independently verify the halal status of products and accepts no liability for any claim arising from a product’s halal certification or the accuracy of halal representations made by Broughton Halal Butcher.

- Allergens and Food Safety
6.1 Allergen information for products is provided by Broughton Halal Butcher. Whilst every effort is made to ensure accuracy, we cannot guarantee that products are entirely free from allergens due to the nature of food preparation and handling.
6.2 If you have a food allergy, intolerance, or dietary requirement, please contact us before placing your order to confirm suitability via partners@meatwala.co.uk.
6.3 Neither Broughton Halal Butcher nor the platform provider accepts liability for any allergic reaction or adverse health effect arising from consumption of products where you have not disclosed your allergy or dietary requirement prior to ordering.
- Cancellations and Refunds
7.1 As our products consist of fresh and perishable food items, your statutory right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply once your order has been prepared or dispatched.
7.2 If you wish to cancel your order before preparation has begun, please contact us immediately at partners@meatwala.co.uk. Cancellation is only possible if the order has not yet entered preparation.
7.3 You are entitled to a full refund if: (a) your order is cancelled by us due to unavailability; (b) your order is not delivered within a reasonable time and you have not received an explanation; or (c) the products delivered are materially different from those ordered or are not of satisfactory quality.
7.4 To request a refund, please contact us as soon as possible and no later than 24 hours after receiving your order at partners@meatwala.co.uk. Please include your order number and details of the issue.
7.5 Approved refunds will be processed via Stripe to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. The Customer Service Charge of £0.59 is non-refundable except where the order is cancelled entirely by us before preparation.
- Our Liability
8.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8.2 The platform provider’s liability to you in connection with your use of this website is limited to the value of the Customer Service Charge paid on the relevant order. The platform provider is not responsible for the quality, safety, halal status, or delivery of any products, which are the sole responsibility of Broughton Halal Butcher.
8.3 Broughton Halal Butcher‘s total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total value of that order.
8.4 Neither Broughton Halal Butcher nor the platform provider shall be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from your use of this website or from any order placed through it.
